About The Teacher
Daniel Nichols is an East Bay Area Native who spent equal time growing up in the East Bay, Sacramento Valley, and then Virginia. He has been working in education for 10 years, filling a variety of roles to include: substitute teacher, special education teacher, high school English teacher, and now independent studies teacher with CICA. He earned a degree in English Literature from Chico State University and a Single Subject Teaching credential from Brandman University. Daniel is happily divorced with three children. When he has time Daniel enjoys sleeping, but often reminisces about weekends backpacking; time spent with friends; afternoon games of basketball, football, or tennis; and having the time to read for pleasure; play video games, and daydream.
