I am an English Language Development teacher here at CICA! I am so excited to be part of your English language journey!
I love education and I worked hard to receive my Bachelor’s in History. Continuing in my education, I went on to receive my Master’s in Education with my focus being online teaching and learning.
I love to travel! Although I did not leave the country until college, I always had a desire to learn about different cultures. During my 3rd year of undergrad, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Ghana. Attending school in Ghana taught me unique pedagogical practices that I still implement in my classroom today. Traveling has taught me that it is our differences that make us beautiful, and we can stand to learn from each other.
It was during one of my many travels that I began to start teaching the English language. So many beautiful people were teaching me their culture and I wanted to be able to teach them part of mine. I know firsthand how important communication is in a foreign land. Which makes it even more of a pleasure to serve you!
